Q1: The temperature reading suddenly shows a much smaller number than before. What should I do?
A1: This usually happens when the temperature unit has been accidentally switched from Celsius (°C) to Fahrenheit (°F). To fix it: Turn on the machine (LED lights up), then press and hold the On/Off button for a few seconds to switch between units. Maximum temperature in Celsius: 75°C Maximum temperature in Fahrenheit: 131°F If the unit is correct but the wax still does not heat up, try long‑pressing the On/Off button again to toggle back and forth.
Q2: The wax is melting very slowly. What could be wrong?
A2: Do not put the insulating tray into the machine first and then add wax on top of it. The wax needs direct contact with the heating surface for efficient melting. If you place the insulating tray underneath the wax, heat transfer will be significantly blocked, causing very slow melting.
Q3: Can I add water to speed up melting?
A3: Never add water. Also, never operate the machine dry (without wax). Adding water can cause the heating element to overheat rapidly, leading to dangerously high temperatures. Dry operation (no wax) has the same effect. Both can permanently damage the unit or melt the lid. Always ensure there is wax in the container and do not add any liquid.
